This model represents medium-lift tandem rotor transport helicopter. Developed for the US Marine Corps, it made its first flight in 1962. Vertol provides all-weather day-or-night assault transport of combat troops, supplies and eqipment. Additionally flies in search and rescue and combat support missions.
